Project no.1

Raul Fuentes Calvo (RFC) Elementary School is the chosen site for this project. It is located in the south of Mexico in the city Coatzacoalcos from Veracruz. This city has one of the most important ports in southern Mexico since it has the Gulf of Mexico on the north of it. The project is based on the renovation of a low-income, deteriorated and lack of infrastructure elementary school, using recyclable materials and sustainable design.

The concept idea for the re-design of this elementary school is to design a functional, sustainable, and creative atmosphere using the theory of Prism of Light. The building will be use as the prism in order for the light to come through the windows and transforms the inside in different bright colours and geometric shapes which makes the space look energetic, fun and happy.
